Properties of titania microspheres and nanospheres: Size : nanospheres 100-950 nm, microspheres 1-100 µm. Solubility in water : insoluble (week acid and bases) Solubility in organic solvents : insoluble. Density : 2.2 g/cm3. Crystal structure : amorphous (could be converted into crystalline state anatase or rutile by heating). Surface charge : positive (pH≤4.5) and negative (pH≥5).
While the polymer and silica microparticles have been commonly used due to Special property : Strong oxidant of organic molecules
Functional surface titania microspheres and nanospheres :
Currently we offer titania microspheres and nanospheres with plain, amino and carboxyl functional groups.
The titania microspheres and nanospheres are also available on custom synthesis basis with other functional groups such as albumin, protein A, epoxy, NHS, NTA, EDTA et others.
